Meet Our Construction Team

Vice President of Construction Jim Lamp describes his team and what it’s like working as a lineman.

Our construction team is responsible for building the fiber-optic network throughout Southern Oregon and Northern California.

Each construction team is comprised of four people.  Entry level positions include ground hand while more technical skills are required to become an aerial linemen.

There’s something about the challenge of the line industry that really draws in a certain type of person. There’s a certain allure to linework—a lot of adrenaline involved in it.
