Amity Gets a New Internet Service Option as Hunter Communications Wraps Construction of High-Speed Fiber Network
Medford, Ore. (February 28, 2023)
Construction is nearing completion on a new 100% fiber optic broadband network that will make Hunter Communications’ award-winning Fiber to the Home internet service an option for up to 600 households in Amity. Work is already complete on the east side and wrapping up on the west side of town. About 90% of the homes in these “fiberhoods” are currently fiber ready, with the balance coming online by early spring as an alternative to existing cable, satellite, and DSL internet service providers.
